Rohatsu Sesshin and Tokudo
A sesshin was held from December 4 - December 13, 2009. The event was held in the No Gate Dojo in Albuquerque, NM and led by Jitsudo. Twelve other people attended all or part of the event.
On Sunday, December 13th a group of family and friends gathered together in the No Gate Dojo to witness the Tokudo ceremony of Ralph Kendo Fritz and Carol Myoshin Bruce-Fritz. Jitsudo led the ceremony with assistance from Eric Kishin Arbiter, Don Ryushin Benage and the No Gate Sangha. There were twenty-two people in attendance, including Suzy Bruce (Carol's sister) who traveled from Denver, Marty Linville (Carol's son) from Nashville, and Jerry and Jannie Dusseau who traveled from Corrales. Also, No Gate Colorado Springs sangha members included Judith Light, Rick Knapp, and Leslie Wigington.
Afterwards, participants and friends relaxed together over dinner. Thanks to all for making the event a joyous occasion!
