Rohatsu Sesshin and Tokudo
A sesshin was held from November 28 - December 8, 2008. The event was held in the No Gate Dojo in Albuquerque, NM and led by Jitsudo. Nine other people attended all or part of the event.
On Monday, December 8th a group of family and friends gathered together in the No Gate Dojo to witness the Tokudo ceremony of Don Ryushin Benage. Jitsudo led the ceremony with assistance from Eric Kishin Arbiter and the No Gate Sangha. There were fifteen people in attendance, including Don's mother, Drew Donnelly Benage, who traveled from St. Louis and Steve Waldvogel who traveled from Gila, NM.
Afterwards, participants and friends relaxed together and enjoyed some great music led by Kendo and Myoshin with help from Caresse and the entire sangha. Thanks to all for making the event a joyous occasion! Special thanks to Myo, Shuko and Diana for the images.
